In December, we welcomed new leader Jane-May Cross, pictured (photo courtesy of Mary Young Photography).

Jane-May has been playing the violin since the age of three, beginning with the Suzuki method. At the age of seven, Jane-May was awarded a Leverhulme Trust Scholarship to study at the Royal College of Music Junior Department, where she was appointed leader of the String and Sinfonia Orchestras and became the recipient of the Ian Stoutzker Violin Prize. Jane-May is a qualified lawyer who now works for Practical Law China (Thomson Reuters) and is based in their London office. In her spare time, Jane-May enjoys lunchtime runs along the Southbank, fine dining with friends, and of course, playing the violin! On behalf of Jane-May and the HCO, we extend a warm welcome to our audience for our concert. See you there!
