7:45 pm - 9:45 pm

New Windmill Hall, Upminster

Susan has loved the countryside and wildlife since childhood. It was an aspiration achieved to train in horticulture with the Royal Horticultural Society and then garden design, later in life. With her landscaping and garden design business, Susan takes every opportunity to advise, plant and manage her clients’ gardens in a wildlife friendly manner and to encourage biodiversity in these habitats wherever possible. With her own half-acre cottage garden open for the National Gardens Scheme, a full size allotment and as a major contributor to a book on local history of her parish, it was a natural progression to develop her interest in food plants for pollinating insects.
Doors open 7.15 p.m. Admission £2, non-members very welcome. For further information about Upminster Horticulture Society visit:
