Illustrated talk on the RHS Lindley Libraries by Elizabeth Koper

The Lindley Libraries house the nation’s gardening collections and provide free access to modern collections of gardening books and journals. Collections cover all aspects of gardening and horticulture, including allotments, bee-keeping, botanical art, cooker, flower arranging, photography, trees and wildlife gardens.
Heritage collections, which date back to 1514, show the development of horticultural techniques, changing tastes in garden design and the excitement of new plant introductions. Elizabeth is an outreach librarian based at Vincent Square and she will show many of the pleasures, and a few of the pains, of five hundred years of gardening.

Entrance fee for this event will be £3 There will also be a Members’ plant sale.

Lecture open to non-members, entry fee £3.00. Doors open 7.15.
